Wild Night Out at Base Camp Festival

Enjoy Wild Night Out at Britain’s friendliest adventure festival - if you’ve managed to secure a ticket already, that is! We’ll celebrate Wild Night Out together from within a ruined castle on the coast, trying bags of new adventures, being inspired by tales of exploration, and partying under the stars.

OVERVIEW

In July 2020, a super-friendly gang of adventurous people will gather together for a weekend in a ruined castle on the coast to try their hand at bucket loads of adventure activities, to meet like-minded people, and to generally have a rip-roaring time exploring by day and partying by night.

Named by the UK Festival Awards as one of The Best Non-Music Festivals, at Base Camp Festival all adventures are included in your ticket price. Your weekend will include a choice of the following adventures: kayaking, mountain boarding & dirt scooters, coasteering, buschraft, camp cooking, SUP, climbing, guided hikes and - phew... yoga.

In the evening, having explored our stunning location by land and sea, we’ll dance at a silent disco amongst the castle grounds, listen to tales of inspiration, chew the fat to the sounds of acoustic guitar, and enjoy more surprises. It will most certainly be one heck of a Wild Night Out

Whilst Base Camp Festival is now fully booked, we do invite you to join the waitlist if you don’t have a ticket already. And, if you were lucky enough to nab a ticket, know that we’ll have an exceptional Wild Night Out in store for you.

SOPHIE MONTAGNE

Sophie Montagne was part of the first female team to ski across the Antarctic continent, coast-to-coast and using muscle power alone. The British Army’s Ice Maidens skied a total of 1,704km, battling temperatures as low as -56C and storms with wind speeds in excess of 100kph. Expecting the unsupported journey to take 75 days, they crossed the finish line on 20th January 2018, an astonishing 14 days ahead of schedule. Their 61 day journey set three new world records.
