Hi everyone,
I'm looking for one or more people to join a non-commercial winter expedition from February 27 to March 7, 2027. Since I am a teacher I am unfortunately not flexible concerning the dates.
The destination is still open – I'm considering Norway, Finland, Sweden, Svalbard, or Greenland. For Svalbard and Greenland, the expedition would maybe be with a guide due to the polar bear risk and the obligation to have a rifle permit, but I am already in contact with a guide who would also be available during those dates.
The exact route has not been decided yet. Ideally, we would discuss and plan it together based on the destination and everyone's experience and goals.
The plan is to travel self-supported, with overnight stays in tents or bivouacs. Ideally, I'm looking for someone who already has winter expedition or winter camping experience and enjoys challenging conditions :-)
