Hello, we are Georgia and Will, both 25, and we are looking for two crew members to join us in January 2028, to take part in rowing the Altantic, from Lanzarote to Antigua, with the organisation Atlantic Dash.
This is a 3200 nautical mile row that can take up to 50 days.
We have already secured entry to the 2028 race and as well as an ocean rowing boat for undertaking the crossing. We are in the process of sorting payment for the vessel as of August 2026.
I have been rowing for two years with the University of Edinburgh Performance rowing programme, and is a PhD Student at the university, hoping to finish studies in late 2028. Will works as an Energy Analyst in London and doesn’t have previous rowing experience, but has played sports throughout his lifetime.
We are both hugely enthusiastic about adventure. In the last couple of years, Will has completed a 220km hike across the Alps and has completed climbs to 6000m. I has have cycled from London to Edinburgh, tackling 1000km and 8500m elevation to raise money for charity.
With a four person boat sorted, we’re now looking for two people to join our crossing. Getting to the start line is a challenge in itself, so we’re looking for someone who:
- Is highly resilient, with fortitude and a positive attitude.
- Is physically fit and willing to train before the row.
- Understands the enormity of the challenge of managing an extended amount of time at sea.
- Is committed and proactive in team environments.
A strong work ethic and dedication to seeing the project through is essential, learning to row can come later. Supporting us to the start line of this adventure, and compatibility with the team are more important for us. We strongly believe that you have to live the width of your life as well as the length of it, and rowing the Atlantic is the perfect expression of that.
If this is something you feel interested in, we would love to hear from you.
