Hi
I’m an ultra-runner, adventure obsessive and long-time sports producer who’s spent the last 15 years working with brands like MLB, World Rugby, Red Bull UK and Formula E. I’ve been lucky enough to tell the stories of athletes pushing their limits… and somewhere along the way, I realised I wanted to support more people doing exactly that.
Over the past few years I’ve begun dabbling in endurance myself; with 50km, 100km and multi-day events, and now bigger races like the TransGranCanaria and Marathon des Sables on the horizon early next year. That journey has taught me a lot about planning, fuelling, logistics, problem-solving, pack setups, mistake-management and the mental side of going long.
Although I'm just getting started in the scheme of things, I’m opening the door here to anyone who’s planning an expedition, long-distance run, big race, or just a personal “I wonder if I can…” challenge and would like some help. I love the process and would love to help support people on their own adventures :-)
Some things I can help with things like:
Crewing during races (including my converted Defender 110 as a support vehicle/bed/mobile kitchen!)
Route planning & any risk assessment
Gear selection, pack setup and weight management
Fuel & hydration strategies
Race strategy, pacing and troubleshooting
Crewing, filming and on-the-ground support
Storytelling; crafting your journey into content if you want it
Logistics, scheduling and documenting your attempt for sponsors
I’m offering this for free while I build up a proper portfolio; the only thing I ask is that reasonable expenses are covered where possible (and ideally through sponsors of course).
I'm first aid trained and currently getting my LiRF from UK Athletics too - so dabbling with helping coach people too!
If you’re dreaming up something big for 2025/26 and want someone in your corner; whether it’s planning in advance or boots-on-the-ground support... I’d love to be involved.
Thanks,
Ollie
