Congratulations to Alan Chambers MBE for another successful expedition to the North Pole. This week Alan led his team of 6 ordinary men and Dr Ed Coats to the top of the world.
Explorers Connect are honoured that Alan is the first explorer to carry an EC flag on expedition. Check out the photos at the North Pole! Alan was awarded the MBE for Determined Leadership in Constant Adversity when he led the first British team to walk unsupported from Canada to the Geographical North Pole.
Next he will be taking on the Spirit of Scott Expedition: A Journey to the South Pole and Back again.Alan and Ed plan to retrace and complete Capt Scott's route - the first time this has ever been done - later this year. EC will keep you updated on their progress.
