We, Leanna Carriere and Timm Döbert, will embark on the first Wings of Survival expedition. We will cycle 30,000km from Alaska to Patagonia, emulating the greatest endurance athletes on the planet: migratory birds.
The expedition begins in early July 2026; planned completion is late March 2027. we invite you to learn more about the project and to check out the film materials on www.wingsofsurvival.com.
We conduct science and provide youth education; there will also be a professional film. We have a support vehicle and might need additional support on select segments of the journey. This is an impact storytelling endeavor; if anyone is keen to help document the story, we'd love to hear from you. We are open to explore other ways of support or engagement with the story.
