“We are "Old Enough To Row Better,” a mixed team, mostly aged 50 something energetic, rowing enthusiasts, who plan to row 3000 miles across the Atlantic from La Gomera to Antigua in December 2027.
We want to put the spotlight on the physical and mental health of people aged 50 and over, and demonstrate that it’s never too late to set new challenges, build resilience, and achieve new goals whilst staying fit, strong and motivated. We would like to inspire others to set a goal and achieve a challenge.
We are based in the North West and Anglesey. We are currently a team of 4 (due to injury) and are looking for another mature person (female preferably) based in the North West of England or North Wales 56 years old or over to join us and make us a team of 5. The ability to row is not essential.”
