Summary of the Adventure
I am looking for a teammate of any gender or age for the PAIRS Atlantic Challenge in December 2024, rowing 5,000km from the Canary Islands to Antigua. I have already applied and paid both entry fees, on the agreement with the race organiser that I can assign the second spot to a teammate when I find one in due course.
About me & who I'm looking for
I'm a 34yo male based in Melbourne. I'm originally British but have lived in Australia since 2015. I've never rowed before; however, I have done a number of unsupported ~2,000km cycling challenges. I love trying new challenges and believe I/we can do anything we put our minds to.
I'd ideally like to find a teammate in the same country, or nearby timezone; however, this is not essential. The main thing I'm looking for is someone who has a mindset of 'never giving up'.
