On Wednesday the first of June, I will be attempting to swim down the River Severn, the longest river in the UK, at 354km. The source of the river is located in Plynlimon in Mid Wales, and will finish at Severn Beach. I intend on finishing the swim on the Sunday the 19th of June.
I will need a minimum of one, but ideally two paddlers on the river with me. I have two standup paddle boards (SUP’s), and kayaks, I just need people to paddle. If you want to join me on this adventure as a paddler for just a single day or the whole thing, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or send me message on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/Ross-O-Sullivan-158616751178772/). I am attempting to swim the River Severn in June. It is 354km and will take about 14-21 days. I need kayak support. The adventure will be continuos i.e. swimming everyday Mon-Sun. Camping by riverbank will be required every night. Land support will be provided, so carrying kit on the kayaks will be kept to a minimum.
