Hi,Some friends and I are planning on rowing around the Isle of Wight in May but havehad some drop outs in the last couple of weeks so are looking for a couple more people to join our crew.The row is in an adventure gig with 6 to 8 people, including taking it in turns to cox. The rowshould take us about 10 to 11 hours, and the current record to beat is 9 hours 46 minutes and 7 seconds!We havetraining sessions booked on the following dates: Sat21st Feb, Sat 7th March, Sun 8th March and the row itself is booked for the 12th of May with the 13th and 14th as back up dates if required due to bad weather.The cost will be 350 - 400 each depending on whether we are a crew of 7 or 8. This includes coaching fees, the gig boat, safety/support boat and getting the boat to and from the start.If you fancy joining us or want to know more please do get in touch.
