Beeline Britain

Beeline Britain is arguably one of the last great British adventures.

Beginning in May, a team of four will make the first ever straight-line journey between Land's End and John O'Groats. This unique challenge has never been attempted before and is an audacious take on an iconic UK Journey. The team will be using two tandem sea kayaks, road bikes, mountain bikes and will also be on foot. They will cover a total of 1,100km. So where does the straight line go? Not where you might initially think - it's mostly on the sea. The line skims the western tips of Wales, passes directly through the Isle of Man, the centre of Glasgow and through the Cairngorms, to finally reach John O'Groats.

Come and cheer on the team as they pass Lands End, St Davids Head, Bardsey Island, Holyhead, Isle of Man, Burrow Head, Central Glasgow, Cairngorm Summit, Lossiemouth, Wick, John O Groats. Exact timings and locations will be provided on the team's website. How long is it going to take?

If the team gets perfect weather conditions then it could take 18 days....... Is it for charity? Absolutely! One of the main aims of the challenge is to raise funds for BLESMA, the British Limbless Ex-Servicemans Association and to demonstrate that suffering life changing injuries doesnt have to mean aspiring to less.
