I've just returned from an awesome 10 day adventure in Madagascar with 12 clients. It was big success fantastic riding of 450km on some of the most beautiful and toughest terrain imaginable over 6 days, great experiences and a good party too

Secret Destinations is excited to announce that we are now taking bookings for the second of our M Mountain Bike Mission adventures. We are going to Malawi the warm heart of Africa from 20-29th September 2012, for what promises to be a real African bucket list experience. There is a great mix of cycling, kayaking, snorkelling, chilling on the awesome Lake Malawi, and of course time to relax and party. We will cycle a total of 385km over 5 days, that is fully supported by our backup vehicles. The highlight is undoubtedly the spectacular descent from the top of the plateaux down the great African rift valley to the shores of Lake Malawi.
During the riding part of the tour we camp for 3 nights under the glorious African skies, in our fully organised mobile camp. You will need to be reasonably fit, especially for the challenge day where we take on a total of 140 km. (There is a backup vehicle for those whos legs cant make it!) The trip includes 3 nights lodge accommodation on the lake shore, before and after we kayak out (10km) to the Robinson Crusoe style luxury lodge on Mumbo Island. Mumbo is a pristine and deserted tropical island where you will have the chance to snorkel and scuba dive to your hearts content during your 2 night stay on the island, before kayaking back the 10km to Cape Maclear for our last night celebration at the Ghecko Lounge. The price of R24,000 (or Euro 2,300) is inclusive of flights from Johannesburg, all accommodation, all meals and all transfers.
