End of Summer Party
27th - 30th September 2019
A pirate-themed Cornish extravaganza, taking in smugglers’ coves, a spot of wild swimming, surfing, and a spectacular alfresco night at the proms at the Minack Theatre. Yo ho ho, me hearties!
Celebrate the end of the season in style with our End of Summer Party at Land’s End. A pirate-themed extravaganza, we’ll get off the beaten track to explore smugglers’ coves and pirate haunts galore. We’ll uncover refreshing wild swimming spots and can arrange a spot of surfing.
On Saturday night we will go from pirate to posh, with ‘A Night at The Proms’ at the Minack Theatre’s spectacular cliff-side amphitheatre. Make sure to bring your flags, horns and whistles to help create the traditional Proms atmosphere.
On Sunday we will dine alfresco with a BBQ, before enjoying an adventure talk from a local adventurer. Depending on energy levels post-proms, we may venture out to explore the coastline by night.
All this is packed into a long weekend in the beautiful seaside town of Sennen, home to one of Cornwall’s best surf beaches, based out of our very own deluxe cliff-top lodge.
On Friday, we’ll be ready to welcome you from 6pm.
On Saturday, after a cooked breakfast we’ll head out to track down some famed pirate haunts and wild swimming spots by foot, with surf sessions (and lessons) available for those that want them. We will reconvene back at the lodge for a home-cooked dinner, before donning our best pirate-attire for The Proms.
On Sunday, after another hearty breakfast, we’ll continue to explore the local coastline (whilst trying out our best pirate lingo) before heading back to the lodge for a hearty BBQ. In the evening, we’ll be enjoy a talk from a local adventurer. Before we settle down for the night, we may head out for a little night hike, depending on energy levels post-proms.
