OVERVIEW

An extravaganza to celebrate the last of the summer sun in one of Cornwall’s most remote areas.

September in deepest Cornwall is characterised by settled weather, seas that have warmed up all summer and great wildlife, without the crowds. Its the perfect place to enjoy the last of the summer sun in style.

This adventure is packed with finding hidden treasures with your experienced guide - explorer and Explorers Connect founder Belinda Kirk. We’ll explore on foot, day and night, to discover secret coves, idyllic wild swimming spots, pirate haunts, ancient sites, wildlife hotspots and more.

A long weekend, there’s also time to fit in some surfing if you’d like, at a world-class surfing beach.

On Saturday night enjoy an unforgettable ‘Night at The Proms’ at a spectacular cliff-side amphitheatre. Make sure to bring your flags, horns and whistles to help create the traditional Proms atmosphere.

Other entertainment includes a celebratory BBQ, talk from a local adventurer & some adventurous surprises.

ITINERARY

On Friday, we’ll be ready to welcome you from 6pm.

On Saturday, after a cooked breakfast we’ll head out to track down some famed pirate haunts and wild swimming spots by foot.

Sennen is renowned as one of the best surf spots in the UK. Surf sessions and lessons are available for those that want them.

We will reconvene back at the lodge for a home-cooked dinner, before donning our best pirate-attire for The Proms.

A Night At the Proms at Minack Theatre is an unforgettable experience, made even better being part of a likeminded group.

On Sunday, after another hearty breakfast, we’ll continue to explore the local coastline before heading back to the lodge for a celebratory BBQ. There will be some surprises before we settle down for the night, we may head out for a little night hike, depending on energy levels post-proms.
