James Dyer

James Dyer has had a thirst for adventure and exploration since childhood. Although he grew up in the urban setting of South East London, he has spent the last 20 years developing, undertaking and leading expeditions throughout the world.

Inspired by historical tales and great leadership over the last few years he has completed a series of personal expeditions following the footsteps of famous historical warriors. His most recent expedition saw him cycling solo from Cartagena in Spain to Turin in Italy - across the French Alps - following the route taken by the 3rd Century General, Hannibal and his infamous elephants.

Join James as he talks about his journeys "In the Shadows of Warriors" to see the modern world through the lens of history, bringing back stories of great exploration and adventure, and looking at expeditions with purpose.

Phoebe Smith

What's it like to spend the night hanging 100m above crashing waves on Scotland's sea cliffs? Or dangling for 8-hours over the cavernous drop of Gaping Gill? How about sleeping suspended from one of London's highest skyscrapers? Phoebe Smith is a woman who can answer all these questions and more as she takes you with her on her Extreme Sleep Out - a charity mission she set herself last year to spend 10 nights suspended from UK landmarks up and down the country to raise money for Centrepoint - the young people's homeless charity.

She'll also share with you her Christmas challenge where she walked the width of Britain dressed as 'Wander Woman', sleeping rough in a mix of frozen ditches and precarious ledges, and give you tips on devising your own escapades right here in the UK.

Finally she will reveal all about her upcoming Antarctic Expedition - where she will walk with her teammate Dwayne Fields on their #WeTwo Expedition, from Penguins to Pole, to raise money to take a group of underprivileged young people to the White Continent in 2020.

Grab your sleeping bag and sense of adventure for a really wild night out...
