Wednesday 19th September, 2018 - FULLY BOOKED
Join EC on the first of a summer of evening paddle boarding trips and see Bristol and its historic floating harbour from a new perspective!
This is your chance to learn the basics of stand up paddleboarding and put them into action on a mini adventure through the historical waterways of Bristol Harbourside. See the sights from the water, propelled by your own paddle. You’ll start off in the daylight to learn the basics before lighting ourselves up with glow-sticks as the sun sets for a to see the city at night.
EC adventures are informal, friendly and great fun! They're made up of singles, couples and small sets of friends with ages typically ranging from mid 20s to mid 40s but anyone over 18 years old and young at heart is welcome. Whether it's your first time exploring the outdoors or you're an adventure professional, EC adventures are a great way to meet like-minded people in a safe, welcoming and fun environment.
You'll meet at The Cottage Inn, Baltic Wharf for 7.30pm ready to head out onto the water. There are changing facilities available so please arrive with plenty of time if you want to get changed. You’ll meet your instructors, pick up your paddleboards and after a safety briefing you'll get out onto the water. You’ll be finished around 10pm.
If you want to meet earlier for a snack at the pub, why not arrange something via Facebook?
