Why the need for experience and equipment in filming the Aurora Australis? If you are going in January there will be 24hour daylight and no auroras visible

I'm a medic with ten years postgraduate experience and have worked in trauma environments across Africa, the Caribbean and Australasia. I have also high titude hiking experience including Chimborazo and base camp. Please could you send me derails of your trip and the full requirements of what you require from your medic. Best wishes. FYI the flights are considerably cheaper than just a few years ago, so this is a particularly good time to go east. From KL, Singapore or Jakarta it is just US$ 400 return (approx) to West Papua.

Fantastic to find a group of fellow adventurers embarking on this crazy challenge. I'll be tackling the challenge on 21st/22nd June too as part of 10 Challenges for Cancer I'm undertaking for cancer research in 2013 (see http://jonmaiden.wordpress.com/2012/12/01/10-challenges-4-cancer/) so would be great to join you all for some moral support... and help with navigation! I'll have a car so can help with transport if needs be.

Hi, Im 23, a keen photographer with adventure simply pouring out of me!! I am always looking for that next buzz. This sounds like a great expedition/opportunity. I wouldn't have my own car but would more than happily pay my way to sit in one! What extras are there to pay for.....flights etc?

Hi I'm very keen on this trip and would like to know further details. Sadly I don't have my own vehicle although this is subject to change. I do have experience of North Africa having driven in Libya and trekked in Algeria. I speak conversational French.
