I'd sure be interested in hearing more if you're still looking for girls to join. It sounds like a fantastic and inspiring adventure.

Cheers!
I would be very interested as I have many ocean rowing friends and have wanted to do an ocean row for quite some time (was looking at the California to Hawaii row in 2014). I also recently set up my own NGO called 'Oceans Project Georgia' and I want to inspire the kids on my project and raise awareness of the Oceans as they have never had the chance to travel, and most have never even seen the sea.
I am based in Georgia, but am originally from the UK. I have been planning to get a rowing machine installed at home for some time, and my best friend is a physiotherapist, so I was going to ask her to put a training programme together for me regardless. And with skype, we could always train 'virtually' for the most part, and then physically when opportunity arises. I'd like to be involved with the three stages ideally, but happy to do just one if others are stronger. I'm currently fundraising for my NGO, and could easily factor in fundraising for an ocean row at the same time, as I am a Geography teacher and looking for ways to educate through expeditions. I was previously in the University Royal Naval Unit, keen scuba diver and wild swimmer. Passionate about the ocean, and happy to do whatever is needed.

I now have another rower for our team. We are potentially looking for a third person with ocean experience and navigational skills, though for the right individual we can discuss utilising what skills and experience we have between us and undertake necessary training before the race.
