I’m planning to spend about a month cycling from Budapest to London in August and would love to get a small team together to do it with. Maybe 4 or 5 people.
I’ll be roughing it quite a bit, buying a cheap bike in Budapest, wild camping/bivvying every night (maybe a few hostels), living out of my panniers and just enjoying the ride. Would be great to find some people who are flexible and don’t mind taking the occasional break with a cold beer instead of just smashing the miles out each day.
I want this to be a group effort too so I’m open to ideas about the route and the dates are flexible, as long as I’m back in time for Base Camp Festival!
I’m 30 years old and spent a month cycling across Indonesia last year after being inspired by Allastair Humphreys books so I have a bit of experience bike touring.
